As a young man, Joseph A. Natoli started his journey in the construction industry with hands-on experience as a mason apprentice while attending Newark College of Engineering at night. He then worked his way up from journeyman to vice president of construction. By 1976, he was ready to go into business on his own, a decision that neither he nor his many clients over the past three decades have regretted.

In the early years, Joseph A. Natoli Construction Corp. put up relatively simple industrial buildings. By the 1980s, our company was involved in more complicated projects, such as building the Hackensack Meadowlands Development Commission's 40,000 sq. ft. headquarters and environmental center on one of the state's most complicated wetland sites.

In the mid-eighties, Natoli Construction was contracted to design and build a northern New Jersey landmark, the 400-room Sheraton Tara Hotel in Parsippany. This project won a national award for Best Masonry Project, and within a few years, Natoli Construction went on to win the state's Best Poured in Place Concrete Project for the 255-room Ocean Place Hilton in Long Branch. In between, our company was also honored as General Contractor of the Year.

It was at this time, a second generation of Natoli started carrying on the company tradition and commitment to construction, when Joseph's son, Paul, entered the business after graduating from Purdue University.

During the past decade, Natoli Construction was honored in another way - being selected by the Ellis Island Foundation to perform the restoration work on two of the national landmark's buildings.

At the heart of Natoli Construction's success is our unwavering commitment to acting as a full-service builder, not a broker. By providing complete performance from the ground up - clearing, excavation, footings and foundations, brickwork, block and stone masonry, concrete, plaster, metal studs and dry wall, rough and finish carpentry, and site work - Natoli Construction can better control your project, so it is delivered on time, on budget, and with a higher level of safety than can be attained by those who are less fully involved. Safety has always been a high priority with us, knowing that it saves lives, prevents anguish, eliminates lawsuits, and can result in lower insurance premiums.

The following pages provide a broad overview of our capabilities. We are confident that if you call any of our clients, they will attest to the fact that Joseph A. Natoli Construction Corp. is up to any challenge you bring us.
